What this site is
chiiki-data is a data archive covering population trends, future projections, the share of population aged 65+, net migration, akiya (vacant home / vacancy) rates and private rental rents for all 1,700+ municipalities of Japan. Everything is compiled from official Japanese government statistics. We make our best effort to ensure accuracy, but all figures are reference values and decisions are the responsibility of the reader. This site does not provide legal or tax advice on purchasing property; please consult a qualified professional.
